FLIPS4LIFEWheels4Life is the charity started by mountain biking legend Hans Rey. Hans will join Phil on a Summer Of Shred stop in Tanzania at end August. They will travel together through the Pare Mountains, and then safari through some of Africa’s most spectacular terrain. Summer Of Shred created a program called Flips4Life to help Wheels4Life in preparation for the trip. Individuals and companies can contribute money to the project by making a pledge for every backflip Phil Sundbaum performs during July and August. A counter of Phils backflips will be posted on the Summer Of Shred website (www.summerofshred.com) and will be updated daily with his progress

Flips4Life will raise money for Hans charity Wheels4Life which distributes bicycles to Africa. Hans and Phil will then deliver the bicycles directly to the villagers on their Summer Of Shred Tour through Tanzania.

Wheels4Life, a 501c non-profit charity, provides bicycles to people in Third World countries who are in dire need. To help identify people who are truly in need of a bicycle to get to school or work, we partner with local organizations and individuals.
